Carnivore Dreams – Boycott List

Happy Monday.  I’ll be working on my special post for tomorrow.  Today, I’ll run to the nursery, make tacos for those guys with leftover smoked pork shoulder.  Probably some eggs, good coffee, mmm.  Another beautiful day of gardening, exercise, and I hope writing!

But here is my list to date of companies I recommend avoiding.  Amazon is the hardest one for me because of the convenience.  But I will try to cut back using them at least.  I was sorry to see Wayfair on the list since that might be a good substitute.   The rest are really no heartburn.  Well, the NFL is tough because my dad is 89 years old and he loves the Lions.  I might have to see football even if i don’t want to.  Grew up watching football every Sunday.  Not sure I can talk him into giving them up…

I’ll post this list at the end of my posts for anyone who wants to see them.

This is the list of places to boycott.  I will publish this list at the end of my posts so I’ll feel I’m accomplishing something yet I can get back to work.  Fewer political posts, though I’m sure one or two will sneak out.

We have to stand up and fight every way we can.  I didn’t use to believe in boycotting people for political views, but these companies are either guilty of boycotting conservative news shows/voices, censorship, or outright propaganda.  And the censorship they are getting away with is alarming. Amazon is a hard one to boycott, it’s so convenient, but even if you cut back on using them, it will help.  Same with Fed Ex.  I will be running this list at the end of my posts from now on, possibly adding to it when necessary.  I recommend boycotting those that try to censor more than others– those boycotting voices or actually guilty of censorship like Facebook, Twitter.  I have been gathering addresses from my friends on Facebook so I can permanently delete it soon.

  1. You forgot Target (the first to make gender-neutral bath- and dressing- rooms) and Progressive Insurance (it’s in the name, folks! See who they invest in.)

A list with who we CAN use might be easier. Or, go with mom & pop. 👍🏼

  2. Geeze, is there anyone left that we can safely deal with? BTW, what’s wrong with Best Buy? I’m in some squabble with them. Dislike them immensely.

  3. Well, I was never for boycotting until they started suppressing and censoring thought. Most of these people are pressuring social media to silence views they don’t agree with. If they just had a political position, I wouldn’t boycott them. But we have to start standing up here or we’ll be sorry. I’m afraid. I hope you are doing well. Nice to see you at least comment! I think of you.
